Turn on your serious mood! That’s because I am spilling facts about the most important proportions of my life. I think of these wherever I go; these three inspire my life. This is a literal lifeline for me, and I know it will be the same for others as well cause I know how important it is. It’s so crucial, and that is FOOD, FASHION AND FUN!!!
Yes! I got you, didn’t I? I know I gave pretty much a serious build-up, but it’s what it is! Take it easy, and we will talk about something that has all these three in the same space.
I will be spilling my favourite malls all around the globe, and I believe these are the best places to experience food, fashion and fun, all in a package! What tops the list is my favourite,
Harrods, United Kingdom
Being the biggest department store in Europe, Harrods is a London icon and one of Europe’s greatest premium establishments. The classic covers 5 acres, over 330 distinct departments and has a million square feet of commercial space, and Harrods is practically a need whenever visiting London.
Besides its retail space, the seven-story Mall also accommodates reputed food halls, restaurants, memorials, and bespoke arcade games. Harrods endless shelves and racks pile all styles of designer items, from Tom Ford tuxedos to Christian Louboutin shoes. Harrods is also recognized for their magnificent dining hall, six premium restaurants, Egyptian antiques, customizable jewellery and a Moroccan spa.
Harrods major draw is unquestionably shopping, but the interior and architecture are undeniable factors adding to the grandeur. One such interior is a famous Egyptian Escalator, which has exquisite ancient Egyptian designs and idols and leads to a memorial fountain honouring the late Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed.
These are just a few notable listings of Harrods. It is impossible to express all the luxuries and sights in a piece of writing; in Harrod’s case, it is always best to behold than overhear!
Le Printemps, France
Le Printemps, which opened its doors in 1865, ranks with Galeries Lafayette and Le Bon Marché as one of Paris’ most recognisable department stores. Its flagship store on Boulevard Haussmann consists of three buildings and stocks a huge selection of designer labels and other priceless fine goods. Three department stores offer womenswear, menswear, as well as beauty —the largest in the world! — and homewares.
The store is also extremely gorgeous, thanks to its iconic stained-glass dome and ornate interiors throughout, making it far more extravagant and elegant than Galeries Lafayette. Additionally, the flagship station boasts a rooftop restaurant with breathtaking panoramic views of Paris, which includes the Eiffel Tower.
Galleria Vittorio Emanuele Ii, Italy
Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the oldest shopping mall in Italy, is known as “il salotto di Milano,” or Milan’s drawing room. The Mall is famed for featuring luxury retailers like the original Prada boutique and iconic and mainstream restaurants, including the Ristorante Galleria.
In addition to being bordered by the Duomo and the Teatro Alla Scala – two main monuments in Milan, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is a popular destination for both visitors and residents.
If you wander around the galleries, the central dome contains a beautiful mosaic that depicts the continents of Asia, Africa, Europe, and America. It also includes a comfortable terrace where you can relax and sip an inexpensive beverage while admiring the ambience and beauty of this magnificent structure.
Cevahir Mall, Turkey
This is the biggest shopping centre in Europe at an impressive 3.47 million square feet. Located on Büyükdere Avenue in the Şişli district of Istanbul, this Mall is also known as “The Sisli Culture and Trade Centre“. The second biggest clock in the world is housed in this massive Mall in Istanbul, which also has a vast glass dome.
This six-story commercial centre has 343 premium retail stores and 48 impeccable restaurants. It also accommodates centre stage – where events are conducted- 12 movie theatres, a bowling alley, and even a roller coaster. A recreational centre named FunLab, offers all the contemporary activities for adults and kids, including electric vehicles, amusement parks, hammocks, as well as table tennis lounges and pool halls.
The Mall also offers a wide variety of restaurants, all of which have a modern, opulent, and contemporary vibe. After a tiring day of shopping, one may visit a few of these restaurants for a delectable lunch. Try Alacati Muhlbilisi Restaurant, Mado Restaurant, or a quick food joint like McDonald’s or Kentucky Kentucky. End your day with a smooth sip of beverage from any distinctive cafe from Cevahir mall. Cevahir aims and specializes in offering everything under one roof – making Cevahir Mall one of the greatest destinations for family entertainment!
As I said, these malls don’t end with just shopping but entertain valuable time and offer everything for a perfect chillout day, including food, fashion and fun!
