The Matterhorn
It is one of the high-rise peaks in the Alps, and the village of Zermatt is a top international resort with horse-drawn carriage rides, quaint chalets, and world-class restaurants and hotels. Skiers can schuss down 300 kilometres of slopes in the winter, while swimming and tennis are popular pursuits in the summer.
Zermatt is a hamlet located at the foot of the fabled Matterhorn. The mountain resort draws visitors from all around the world all year long. The Matterhorn may be admired and captured from various breathtaking viewing points in Zermatt. There are numerous activities available year-round in the alpine playground.
Switzerland’s National Park
The Swiss National Park is a global UNESCO Biosphere Reserve member in the Western Rhaetian Alps. The park’s roughly 80 kilometres of hiking paths and natural trails stretch across more than 170 square kilometres of land. On the Fluela pass, a snow-covered alpine valley with a crystal-clear lake in the middle may be seen.
The park is a natural wilderness with lakes, high mountains, forests, and wildlife in plenty. Twenty-one different hiking trails wind around the park.
Interlaken
Interlaken is a well-known summer holiday destination between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, with alpine activities, including hiking, climbing, abseiling, and kayaking. In addition to paragliders taking off from Beatenberg-Niederhorn, there are 45 mountain railroads, cable cars, chairlifts, and ski lifts.
Cross-country skiing is possible along the wide trail system in the winter, and skiers and snowboarders can choose from the resorts nearby. Get aboard a paddle steamer for a trip around the lakes to take in the sights from lower levels.

Meander to the Bright Frosty Land
Lucerne
Due to its renowned music festivals and well-known attractions, including the Chapel Bridge, Lion Monument, and Swiss Transport Museum, Lucerne is a popular destination for travellers. It is also well-known for hosting an annual International Music Festival and housing one of the top music halls in the world at the Cultural and Convention Center. Take the funicular to the Dietschiberg, ascend Mt. Pilatus, or go to the Rigi vantage point for stunning Alpine views.
Lugano
Switzerland’s version of Monte Carlo. You’ll believe you’ve arrived in the Mediterranean in Lugano, in the Italian-speaking Ticino area of southern Switzerland. Lugano City is well-known among celebrities and other notable people for its beautiful scenery and laid-back atmosphere. It is situated on the bank of its namesake glacial lake with the San Salvatore and Brè Alps in the background. The main square, Piazza della Riforma, is surrounded by pastel-coloured Italianate architecture, as one would expect from any of Italy’s most lovely cities and villages. The city has lakeside promenades, upscale retail areas, and bustling outdoor dining options. It’s not unexpected given that Lugano is known for being among the most picturesque cities in Switzerland and is encircled by quaint mountain villages.
Jungfraujoch
With an observation terrace and a scientific observatory positioned at 3,454 metres, Jungfraujoch is the “Top of Europe.” In addition to the well-known Eiger Trail from the Eiger glacier station to Alpiglen, it is home to the Great Aletsch Glacier, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Some well-liked treks are Gletscherschlucht (Glacier Gorge), the pfelchüechliwäg, and Panorama Way on the First slope’s bright, south-facing slope. A glacier settlement in the Jungfrau region, Grindelwald offers stunning views of the towering peaks.
