On your trip through Spain, be prepared for happy indulgences. Every day, there will be flowing wine, endless plates of tapas at your table, and artistic masterpieces to wow you. The massive art collection at Madrid‘s Prado museum is good to start. Next, go on a food tour or enjoy an iconic calamari sandwich at one of the many alfresco cafés in Plaza Mayor, the grand central square.

Spain has a diverse range of cultures, which is immediately apparent in the southern city of Seville. Its main attractions are the Gothic cathedral and the Alcazar, a complex of palaces and fortifications still used as a royal residence. After visiting the flamenco museum, head to a table for drinks and an evening of flamenco. Completing the golden triangle of Andalusia requires a few detours: to Granada to see the Moorish hilltop palace-fortress of Alhambra and the Generalife gardens, and then to Cordoba to visit the Great Mosque.

The Spanish place a high value on food and drink. Make no mistake, wine lovers, you must go bodega hopping in La Rioja, Spain’s central wine-producing region. Here, aged reds, aromatic whites, and delicate rosés are all produced and served with excellent pinchos, or “small bites.”

The Basque Country is another exciting cultural exploration you won’t want to overlook just to the north. San Sebastian on the north coast, who appreciate the finer things in life, and local specialities include pinchos and hearty seafood. The Guggenheim Museum is gold in Bilbao, but the La Ribera food market and the city’s old quarter, Casco Viejo.

Barcelona is the pride and joy of Catalans. The legacy of Antoni Gaudi, one of Spain’s most influential architects, is evident in the over 200-year-old La Sagrada Familia cathedral and Park Guell, a mosaic-lined park. At night, stroll down buzzing La Rambla and choose from many trendy tapas bars and jazz clubs.

We know our tapas from our pintxos, our sangria from our tinto de verano, and a fideua from a paella at Vibes Group UK. As a result, you’d be wise to entrust the planning of your authentic Spanish holiday to our experts.

Every day is unique because I share my excitement for discovering new places with people who share my love of travel. My mind-blowing journey of learning lands anew has taken me along the untrodden ways, having grown up in a multi-cultural background and a country with endless serenity to explore. On the other hand, travel has shown me what is possible and how much work remains in combating vested interests, inequality, and environmental destruction. It’s hard to contain the buzz in the blood that comes from travelling or rising to a challenge, and you can’t always control yourself. Travel blogging is the perfect outlet to express my astonishment and bewilderment to the world. So, follow your heart, see what you can’t see, and leave a trail of Good vibes only!
